Every year, Norman Elftmann, owner of the restaurant and cafe inside the train station, goes all out with Halloween decorations which run throughout the entire station. Be sure to bring the whole family in to see the displays, while enjoying home-cooked food and refreshing beverages.
You also will not want to miss the third annual Downtown Tinley Boo Bash. The train station will be open during the event, which offers free activities such as hay rides, a costume contest, trick-or-treating with local businesses, and DJ entertainment.

The fourth annual Downtown Tinley Boo Bash will be great fun for families with young children. The new open format will accommodate our growing crowd, allowing families to move freely about the event. Some of the free activities will include hay rides, a costume contest, trick-or-treating with local businesses, new games, a mad scientist presentation, DJ entertainment and more.
